Her expertise includes key European regulations such as the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), with a strong focus on accelerating sustainable building technologies, climate-neutral construction, and the development of green markets.

Jens Heyvaert is the founder of Klareco, a consultancy supporting real estate and industrial organizations in improving the energy performance of their buildings and sites. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from KU Leuven and began his career at Colruyt as a maintenance engineer. With a strong focus on energy analysis, optimization, and reporting, Jens helps companies reduce costs and environmental impact while navigating increasingly complex regulations (such as the EED), ensuring compliance is practical and operational rather than merely theoretical.
